Cold-chain handling is booked directly with the carrier ahead of tender, and the PEB itself must be submitted no earlier than 7 days before the estimated export date and no later than before the goods enter Soekarno-Hatta's Customs Area. There's no preferential Certificate of Origin to prepare, since neither CPTPP nor the Canada-Indonesia CEPA is in force yet — this shipment clears at the standard MFN rate.

Not yet. Indonesia only opened formal CPTPP accession talks in June 2026, targeting full membership in 2027. Separately, Canada and Indonesia signed a bilateral Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement in September 2025, but it hasn't entered into force — both governments are targeting late 2026. Until one of these takes effect, a Jakarta-origin shipment clears at the standard MFN rate, with no preferential Certificate of Origin process to prepare.
